Who's the foremost project management methodology or project manager?
A question that's repeated many times and repeatedly on the table, you find that the owners of companies that seek to sell methodologies and project management offices that the methodology is the basis for the success of any project, which gives the excellence and excellence of companies and successful projects and then comes the project manager as a second element of success after the methodology of project management.
On the other side, you will see the companies that they don’t have any methodology, there direction goes always to focus on Project manager experience, specialty and profession. That’s it.
Now we got reached to up and down, who’s most important and who’s first?
On my opinion, the one who was created by Allah “GOD” always comes first and the one who made by human been hands will come later.
Let me give you some examples:
No two-original equivalent diamond in the word and there is no two pieces of OUD wood has same smell, but there are two same cited diamond and there is a lot of same perfumes was mad by humane hands years back.
So, from here we can understand that the day’s and years on a top of it the pressure and cumulative experience that made project manager give him the edge of being the most important part in success of any project, and step before the methodology from importance point view.
WAW, in this stage let us ask a very fast question and let me answer it very shortly, what is they most important Ingredients for any project to success, from project executer or project owner eyes:
First:
Focus on selecting a high professional project manager, and be sure that he doesn’t has any experience of the project field.
Be sure that he has a great experience and record with merging between three things the RFP + Proposal + Contract, so he will manage to generate a one Scope of work that merge the previous three parts together.
Be sure that he understands the three-coloring concept (Green – Red – Yellow) of who to read and know the previous three and how to present it to stakeholders and give them a solution for it, so he will fix it in his final. This MUST be completed before starting the project.
Second:
Having a flexible methodology that can match customer and company needs.
Third:
Project owner has an agreement with the winner company that the salesman will not leave the company till this predict completed and closed.
Forth:
Controlling the financial project situations from A to Z is the most key important factor via project manager if linked it to project millstone and timeline with agreed SOW, and keep project owner and stakeholder on atop of that situations, so this will give a very important successes factor to the project.

So now I can say that this Project manager is the most important key success factor for any project and become before Project Methodology
